2 Basic (POP/IMAP) - Windows

  1. Click the bottom-left Start button to open the Start Menu, type control panel in the search box and select Control Panel in the results


  2. Type Mail in the search box in the top right and then click Mail


  3. Click Show Profiles (If show profiles isn’t present, go to them next step)


  4. Click Add and give the profile a name then press OK


    For Outlook 2010 and 2013

  5. Select manual setup or additional server types and click next


  6. Enter your name and email address

    Server Information

    • Account Type: IMAP
    • Incoming mail server: imap.mse2010.com
    • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.mse2010.com



  7. Select More Settings

  8. Select Outgoing Server, and tick My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication


    • Select Advanced and update the port number for your platform


    Server Port Numbers

    • Incoming server (IMAP): 993
    • Outgoing server (SMTP): 587
    • Incoming Encryption method SSL
    • Outgoing Encryption method TLS


  9. Press OK and next to complete setup

  10. Wait for the two green ticks and press close


  11. Click Next then Finish


    For Outlook 2016

  12. Enter your email address and click Advanced Options
  13. Tick the box Let me set up my account manually and click Connect


  14. Select IMAP as the account type


  15. Enter the server details for your platform as below and click connect


    Exchange 2010 SP1

Incoming mail

  • Server: imap.exchange.simply.ms Port: 143
  • Encryption method None

Outgoing mail

  • Server: smtp.exchange.simply.ms Port: 587
  • Encryption method None

Exchange 2013

Incoming mail

  • Server: imap.mse2010.com Port: 993
  • Incoming Encryption method SSL

Outgoing mail

  • Server (SMTP): smtp.mse2010.com Port: 587
  • Outgoing Encryption method TLS


  1. Enter your password when prompted and press OK


  2. Once setup is complete, press OK
